COST CONTROL MANAGER - 1 no.
- Preferably Engineer or QS (MRCS would be added advantage) background person for this position with plenty of experience in this role. Preferably South African/British Nationality/ or foreign qualified Asian national.
Job Description
1. To establish and implement budget/cost control procedures through all project stages including Tendering, estimating, procurement.
2. To plan, lead, coordinate and report financial cost for large scale construction projects in every aspect from development and review of estimates to cash flow projection, invoice reviews and approvals, preparation and issue of cost reports, trends reports, risk assessment and forecasting.
3. Must be able to prepare departmental budgets along with cost center distribution.
4. To prepare senior executive management reports, including detailed breakdowns and reports based on orders, invoices and expenditures.
5. Advise on commercial performance of employer in respect of projects execution and implement strategies to eliminate losses.
6. Implement TQM across all commercial activities including plans and actions for continual improvement.
7. Train local staff and organize department and staff to meet objectives
