Required Social Media Manager for M.H. Alshaya Co in Kuwait

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain direct internal and external relationships.
  • Develop Brand teams' and Alshaya's understanding and usage of the multimedia environment.
  • Manage Alshaya's online corporate reputation.
  • Provide policies and guidelines in the area of online marketing and communications.
  •  Organize and manage workload within one's own area of expertise.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and lead by example.
Skills / Experience:
  • Degree level education in marketing and communications.
  • Full understanding of online channels - particularly consumer facing elements.
  • Understanding of online tracking, evaluation and reputation management.
  • 6+ years digital marketing background in retail/commercial environment.
  • Extensive experience of creating and managing online marketing programmes.
  • Experience of creating websites, from creative brief to ongoing management and optimization
  • International experience desirable.
  • Strong writing abilities (English and Arabic preferred).
  • Hands on, strategic thinker - able to identify issues and opportunities and deliver solutions.
  • Sound analytical skills to ensure effective reporting and forecasting.
