Meet and greet the guests with a warm and friendly reception and remain attentive throughout their stay as being the first point of contact it is important to create the right impression.
    Take reservations over the telephone by being informative and ensuring that the correct details are being provided to the guests.
    Seat customers quickly and efficiently ensuring that their specific requirements have been met, if the restaurant is full, explain this to them and provide them with a realistic waiting time.
    Be aware of waiting staff and their stations as to not overburden one station with too many customers and assist the waiting staff during busy periods.
    See the customer to the door, thank them and invite them to return again.
    Ensure complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items to describe and recommend when required.
    Keep abreast with all the latest products and services that will be offered at the outlet.
    Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness as well as health and safety standards at the outlet
    Provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction.
    Report any complaint immediately and discreetly to the Supervisor/Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Person Specification:
    Secondary School education preferable in relevant technical or business related discipline with tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management.
    Knowledge in the related industry & ability to learn the know how of the business.
    Communication skills.
    2-3 years total relevant experience.
