Required Quality Control Coordinator - Australian College of Kuwait

The incumbent should carry out an independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which ACK’s financial, physical and information resources are being carried out consistent with newly implemented MIS. In addition, the incumbent should add value by acting as a facilitator in internal auditing, business risk management and carrying out value for money reviews, thereby assisting the management of ACK in the effective discharge of their responsibilities based on the output from MIS implementation. The position will report to Senior Support Services Manager.

Essential:
• A recognized professional qualification in Business Management or any relevant field.
• A personal specification which implies a thorough knowledge of the principles, procedures and practices of accounting, financial records and transactions.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with other ACK staff and to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• An understanding of and empathy with the education sector.
• An ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Information Technology (IT) skills: Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite.
• The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
• Good analytical skills.
• The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiating skills.
• A good understanding of the Data Protection Act.
• A willingness to keep up to date with developments in audit principles.
• Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and working with the latest technology.
• Competent in the use of the English language.
• Work Ethic.
• Professional Appearance.

Desirable:
• A post graduate qualification; preferably in Business Management, Information Technology or any relevant field.
• 5-10 years experience in system implementation preferably in an education sector.
• Acquired training in Quality Assurance and or internal auditing.
