Required HR Officer - Box Hill College, Kuwait

Under general supervision, carry out and evaluate training programs for the employees and the public. The individual shall be responsible for all personnel needs, supervise processes of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour and Ministry of Interior, prepare documentations and contracts, schedule interviews, ensure availability of physical and human resources, assist in monitoring performance and coordinating recruitment and hiring processes; coordinating human resources programs; maintain attendance records; maintain and update staff files; prepare and submit various HR reports as well as other functions to meet college and departmental objectives.

Required Qualifications Education and Training
Work requires a general business background generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a business-related field, English or Computer science.
Human Resources certification is an advantage.

Experience
Work requires five years relevant HR and payroll experience

· Able to communicate and motivate via written media.
· Strong background in a HR generalist or specialist resourcing role

Main Responsibilities
May include any and/or all of the following:
Prepare and present information, using a variety of techniques and formats
Prepare hand-outs, forms, documents and contracts
Organize and follow personnel procedures
Offer support and assistance to help employees maintain or improve job skills
Assist in monitoring, evaluating and recording staff activities and program effectiveness and performance
Coordinate recruitment and placement of employees
Maintain staff records and update information on regular intervals
Maintain attendance and leaves records.
Prepare attendance/leaves/staff reports
Assist in the payroll process
Prepare final settlements of staff and any certifications required
Assist in assessing training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, and/or consultation with managers, instructors or customer representatives
Assist and plan orientation and training for employees
Negotiate contracts with clients, including desired training outcomes, fees and expenses.
Assist in recruitment, screening, interviewing and hiring processes
Assist management in the handling Human Resources issues and actions.
Follow up on performance appraisal, recommended actions, and development needs.
Handle any other duties, as required. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
