Required Maintenance Engineer - Kout Food Group

The purpose of the role is to take overall responsibility for the supervision and management of the day to day maintenance and engineering function within the Manufacturing Operations related to all equipments and facilities.

Skills
- Recognised formal training in engineering (preferably electrical) - Essential
- Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering - Preferred
- Intermediate or Advanced HACCP Training - Preferred
- Intermediate or Advanced Food Hygiene Training - Preferred Heath and Safety in the Work Place Training - Preferred

-Carry Out all engineering and maintenance activities in a clean and sanitary condition according to GMP “Good Manufacturing Practices” as per technical Department and BRC guidelines.
-Receiving engineering/maintenance department requests from the manufacturing operations and carrying out and delegating work required to the engineering assistant.
-Maintaining engineering requests documentation as per company procedures and prepare reports for the Weekly, Monthly and Annual Manufacturing Management Meetings
-Compilation and maintenance of the PPM schedule to include:
o All Manufacturing Equipment (processing, packing, labelling and detection)
o All Hygiene Entry and Cleaning Systems
o Goods Elevators
o Refrigeration Plant
o Air Conditioning and Ventilation
o Electrical Network
o Plumbing Network
o Gas Network
o Compressors
o Water Chillers and Filtration Plant
o All Internal Fabric of the Building
o All External Fabric of the Building, Grounds and Boundary
o Offices and General Facilities
o Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Systems
-Assist in Engineering Training
-Take full responsibility for safety matters relating to the Engineering Function
-Take an active role in Equipment Acceptance trials, Off Site Training (possibly overseas), Installation, Commissioning, Handover and supplier training.
-Maintaining Warranty and Guarantee documentation within the department and the SAP module.
-Maintain and take responsibility for the security and documentation of all spare parts and engineering tools/equipment.
-Take part in Third Party Audits for accreditation purposes.
