The Dean will serve as the chief academic, fiscal, and administrative
officer of the College, and reports directly to the President. S/He will
be responsible for leading future efforts for the Self-Study of the AACSB accreditation, business curriculum, building on the success of the College, fostering an environment
conducive to excellence in teaching, research and service,
collaborating effectively and collegially with other academic units,
advocating the University administration strategy, establishing
relationships with business and community leaders, and leading the College through its next phase of growth and development.
The successful candidates should have a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in a business or related field found within the College of Business and Economics from an accredited institution; teaching and administrative experience in an accredited college or university business program or industry and substantial leadership experience in higher education; preferably in an AACSB accredited American model business school. Hands on experience in the AACSB accreditation process an advantage. Working experience in the Arabian Gulf or the wider Arab world preferred, but not a prerequisite.
Salary and terms of appointment will be commensurate with experience, education and background.
