Department Manager - Burberry

Through your passion for the brand and role you will lead your team in providing an iconic customer experience, maximising every sale.   You will be accountable for the efficient running of your department and as part of the store management team you will be responsible for supporting the senior management team in the efficient running of the store.
• Give iconic customer service in line with the Burberry Experience programme at all times and to lead Sales Consultants to deliver this same level of service.

• Ensure that the team achieve maximum sales potential in line with individual and departmental targets through effective use of sales information.
• Ability to build relationships with customers through a 1-2-1 personal shopper style approach to sales.
• Maintain stock levels in the department in accordance with planned stock figures.
• Adopt a proactive approach in order to adhere to current Visual Merchandising principles and to work closely with the Visual   Merchandising Team.
• Be aware of company communication and ensure that your staff are aware of this information.
• Provide effective leadership for the staff.
• Carry out, where appropriate, staff training sessions.
• Appraise staff performance during the probationary period and annually and to provide daily feedback to employees as appropriate.
• Ensure that all employees conduct themselves professionally and comply with the Company Grooming Guidelines.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store.
• Ensure that the relevant administration is completed and distributed appropriately.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous retail management experience, ideally in luxury fashion retail
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and driving sales
• Be a confident leader
• Enjoy working within a team
• Be computer literate
• Comfortable working to sales targets
