The Role::
To analyse, build, support and configure high end web applications that support Ooredoo's online presence for portals, apps, kiosks and e-commerce.
Qualifications and Requirements::
•Build unique traffic and revenue generating applications for Ooredoo.com and E-channels
•Support the product specialists from online team with development and programming in house
•Launch fast to market applications based on html5, mobile apps and custom development
•Create and enhance web based products that enhance Ooredoo's customer offering such as new cms, new online products and make online systems more efficient with optimized code structures.
•Support Online team in helping Technology integrate with back end technologies through API development.
•Create web models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data models.
•Document test plans, testing procedures, or test results.
•Recommend and implement performance improvements.
•Manage end to end web product application development in coordination with The Sr. Manager – E-channels and Technology
•Facilitate requirements gathering from stakeholders and create application documentation for necessary sign offs.
•Implement the latest innovations in web technology into our applications such as AJAX, Node JS, HTML5, Razor, Kendu, and Signal R
•Build innovate interfaces using state of the art functionality where there is a direct and positive impact on customers.
•Coordinate with Technology to facilitate integration work through API’s into our web applications and other E-channel interfaces.
•Web application launches
•Web application support
•API development for back end integration
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 7 years of related working experience in Internet related projects and technologies
•3+ years building e-commerce based applications
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong organizational skills
•Innovative and creative thinker.
•Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.
•Superior analytical skills and ability to provide creative solutions to challenges
•Fluent verbal and written communication in English. Arabic is a plus but not required.
•Degree in Computer Science or MIS or E-commerce related industry certification.
•Sound knowledge of ASP.net, JSP , HTML5, Visual studio, MS SQL server and Oracle based technologies
•In depth knowledge of requirements analysis, software design and documentation
•Strong knowledge of web based technologies such as AJAZ, Node JS, Jquery etc.
