- Mechanical Engineer graduate or related
- 1-4 years work experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Good team working skills
- The ability to prioritise and plan effectively
- A high level of computer literacy, particularly computer-aided design
- Good commercial awareness
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Description
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, technical specifications, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Participate in research, prepare and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Participate in performing detailed quantity surveying for equipments, materials and consumables required to complete certain job successfully
- Participate in cost, time and manpower estimation required to complete a project successfully
- Receive materials and equipments in excellent condition at site and confirm excellent handling and storage as per manufactures recommendation and international codes and standards
- Assist senior engineers to oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Assist senior engineer to keep records of shop and as built drawings and the amount of work done
- Participate in the office and site activities related to testing, commissioning and handing over under the supervision of senior engineer
