Required Head Pastry Chef - Harvey Nichols - M.H. Alshaya Co in Kuwait

The Head Pastry Chef is responsible for the entire kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all orders from the kitchen/ commissaries are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
  • Check all daily storage areas and keep the orders to par or in accordance with the volume of the business.
  • Ensure that all employees report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform at all times.
  • Organize and set-up the kitchen/ commissary as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximize productivity.
Skills / Experience:
  • Experienced in pastry skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or equivelant combination of education.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience.
