Required Strategic Marketing Manager for Wataniya Telecom - Qtel Group in KUWAIT


Overall management responsibility for defining the Marketing Strategy to Wataniya Telecom and customer analytics (CRM).
Key Accountabilities:
    Manage the Business Intelligence analysis conducted by direct reports; determine how it impacts Wataniya Telecom and communicate the information to management on a variety of subjects.
    Manage the process of providing the upper management the most current research and market trends for correct tactical and strategic decisions for Wataniya Telecom.
    Provide general direction supporting the evolving of the Kuwaiti telecom sector.
    Supervise the overall strategy for Wataniya telecom.
    Review Strategic reports and lead meeting with upper management.
    Analyse accurate market trends, problems and opportunities via effective research, competitors' reactions and strategies.
    Manage Business and trend analysis, group performance management and development of strategic guidelines.
    Analyse competitors and the markets in reach, Control risks research and drawing conclusions and implications from such analysis.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with peers and Qatar Telecom Group BI units with a focus on operational excellence and sharing knowledge and expertise.
    Ensure that upper management is informed on all critical issues pertaining to the area responsible for.
    Manage the process of providing valuable consumer and customer intelligence analysis and review Customer Analytics reports. Inform and advice upper management on strategies to tackle business issues.
    Support business with selecting targets and designing the related Marketing and Sales Campaigns.
    Analyse feedback based on usage and interactions with customers. Provide feedback to Marketing for further iterations.
    Initiate ideas, tasks, and projects in support of CRM business Analysis.
    Establish and enhance existing procedures, methodologies, and practices in support of CRM business analysis.
    Interface with internal and external parties and vendors, participate in meetings,
    Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents.

Qualifications:

Necessary knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job:
    8+ years relevant experience which should include Line Management, Data Warehouse/MIS, Project Management and Telecom experience
    Skills in strategy analysis
    Proven experience with reporting or Business Intelligence projects, employing Business Objects and data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store architectures
    Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities
    Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
    Excellent command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be an advantage

Education and Certification requirements:
    Bachelor degree in Business Intelligence, Research, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute.
