Objectives:

Conduct an analysis of the industrial status of Kuwait.
Identify the main obstacles that face industrial investment in Kuwait.
Set recommendations of solutions to facilitate industrial growth in the country.
National cadre capacity building in dealing with issues relevant to international practices relevant to the mission.
Analyze the economic indicators related to the industrial sector
Conduct sectorial studies related to non- oil manufacturing industries in Kuwait
Conduct studies about value added investments, and the studies include suggestions that aim to develop the investment environment in Kuwait.
Train the cadre in the public authority for industry on how to conduct economic studies that are related to the industrial sector.

Expected Output

Monthly progress report approved by the beneficiary.
Detailed SWOT analysis report on relevant area of expertise.
Legal briefs and studies upon the request of the beneficiary.
Final report with recommendations for future actions.
A comprehensive study on industrial issues in the State of Kuwait with executable solutions and alternative options.
Ability to advocate and provide policy advice
Awareness of the need for development and operational effectiveness
In depth knowledge and strong track record of using internationally oriented programs and instruments
Good understanding of the rules governing program management and implementation modalities as set by the Government of Kuwait and PAI. This attribute is a plus.
Ability to lead formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development programs and projects,
Ability to research and analyze national and international development situations
Strong IT skills

Experience:

Language: Excellent communication skill in Arabic and English is a must.
