Internship Opportunities - UNDP

Intern to the Youth Programme for the United Nations Development Programme Kuwait Country Office

The Youth Programme is a recently launched programme at the UNDP Kuwait Country Office. As a result, major efforts are directed towards conducting a Rapid Assessment Process (RAP) to assess the current situation of youth in Kuwait. This is being done through two means: first, data gathering methods are used to take account of all existing youth initiatives in Kuwait (government, private sector and civil society based); and second, by conducting quantitative and qualitative studies to allow Kuwaiti youth to determine a set of priority areas that will come to shape the Youth Programme. This participatory process will help the UNDP assist the Government in developing a national youth strategy that meets the needs of Kuwaiti youth.
