Bachelor Degree - any related discipline (preferred)
Selection Criteria:
• Have a bachelor Degree in any related discipline is desirable but not required. At least have a minimum of Diploma Certification.
• Five (5) Years’ site experience in heavy road construction industry
• Must be able to speak Arabic (desirable) and English (mandatory)
• Exposure to working in large construction sites involving high heavy road construction.
• Must have good physical fitness with leadership qualities to lead teams.
• Candidate must be someone who has significant work style in attention to detail, analytical thinking, integrity, dependability & initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly supervise the teams in scaffold erection and dismantling.
• Capable to physical demonstrate to build rigid steel scaffold towers and mobile steel/aluminium towers.
• Use varied techniques for rigid steel / mobile tower modifications to suit work requirements.
• Have sound knowledge in erecting scaffold towers considering varied site and ground conditions.
• Have knowledge in bolting clamping/fitting/ fastening/forming/ fixing/hoisting/ installing/joining /positioning/raising/ setting/supporting/erection/ dismantling/ modification and checking.
• Inspections and providing scaff-tags with relevant inspection details.
• Have knowledge in using various hand tools relevant to scaffold building/dismantling.
• Knowledge of selections of suitable jacks/wheels and turn buckles and safety equipment.
• Lead scaffold teams with strong leadership qualities.
• Work closely with project scaffold engineer/manager.
• Consider safety as the prime requirement in the day to day activities.
