* HS diploma or equivalent.
* Four (4) years directly related experience.
* Must have a general maintenance familiarization with all current Marine Corps portable power systems from 3kw to 100kw with 60 hz to 400 hz: to include an understanding of electrical wiring, planning and setup.
* Must not present a direct threat to the safety and health of the workers or others.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds unaided.
* US Citizen. Proof required.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
* Valid state Motor Vehicle Operator License.
* Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position
We currently have a position open for a Generator Mechanic in Kuwait.
Responsibilities:
Repairs electric motors, operate and repair electric power generators, troubleshoots equipment electrical circuits, and repair the electrical systems on all engineer equipment.
Inspect, maintain, repair facility equipment, electrical circuits, motors, and distribution centers.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
Assemble, disassemble, repair, and/or modify components and systems.
Other duties as assigned.
