Senior Operation Manager - Gulf Bank

Job Purpose:
To supervise, organize and control activities of the branch operations, in addition to responsible for day-to-day Operations of the branch to effectively manage, formulate, implement and coordinate with Bank's policies and procedures. The role of the Senior Operations Manager is a critical position and delivers huge impact both on the customer experience and on bottom line performance within the branch operations.
Accountabilities:
General:

•  Overall directions, coordination, and evaluation of site operations functions, including full accountability for setting and achieving operational goals, strategic planning and analysis.
•  Manage a team of Operation Managers/Assistant Operations Managers as direct reports.
•  Manage the performance of the Operation Managers, SCSR, and CSRs of all assigned branches to ensure best productivity and high quality service in order to provide a range of general banking services to customers.
•  Responsible for Branch staff appearance, behaviors and attitudes assuring excellent customer service provided within the timelines and according to the Bank Promise at all times.
•  Overview the daily balancing of suspense accounts.
o  Monthly supervision of key GL’s and Suspense Accounts to ensure that they are balanced as per Gulf Bank procedures.
o  Escalation of all un-reconciled entries, facilitating the closure of pending issues.
o  Approve the branch cash limit excess, tellers/vault cash differences and handovers of branch/vault custodies.
o  Monitor the customers’ complaints in order to resolve them where possible, and follow up the unresolved ones.
o  Responding to Internal Control/Audit and External Audit queries in a timely manner, ensuring that the discrepancies pointed out by them are corrected immediately and that IA opened issues are closed on Team Central within the deadlines.
Responsible for OMs, SCSR, and CSRs rotations to assure full awareness of products and processes, and avoid risks of long periods for staff in the same position.
Education/Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
a)   Education / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business administration, training  in AML policies
b)   Knowledge:
-   Good knowledge in branch operations, policies & procedures.
-   Good Knowledge of bank Products & Services
-   Excellent rating in the Internal Audit & Internal Control report.
c)   Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of banking operations experience with 3-5 years in Operations Manager position
d)   Accreditation / Licensing:
     CABBM (is A must)
