1. Receiving material requests from end users to review and distribute them to department team.
2. Monitoring of daily basis activities over department.
3. Following up on all projects related matters with the relevant project manager.
4. Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance and participating in quality improvements projects.
5. Review quotation and price comparison sheet to ensure that it is according to PSD procedures & meets the requirements of end user technically and commercially.
6. Manage high technical inquiries and support PSD team in these issues and negotiate.
7. Communicate all issues related to projects and project managers and report to Procurement manager about the issues.
8. Usage of measurement tools and monitoring supplier performance and participating in quality improvement projects.
9. Develop sourcing strategies for the material to sustain cost reduction and improve deliveries.
10. Participate in supplier audits.
11. Ensuring that QA/QC procedures are adhered to, and AVL is maintained, updated and approved by PSD Manager.
12. Coordinating extensively with internal customers to ensure that their requirements are communicated and met with on time delivery of material meeting specification and quality requirements.
13. Abiding by all company policies and procedures.
14. Any other task requested by the manager.
Skills
1. Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
2. 8+ years of work experience in relevant field.
3. Fluent in both English and Arabic languages
4. Computer literate
5. Knowledge of ERP systems
