Responsible for conceptualization, layouts and design of graphics for New Media Division and production
Key Accountabilities
-Develop concepts for and design all “New Media” collateral materials, including direct mail, and ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, and invitations as needed
-Develop look, feel and presentation of all company projects, online and print
-Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and material
-Plan concept by studying information and material
-Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concept
-Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
-Prepare finished copy and art
-Prepare final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
-Manage Web site design updates while maintaining look and feel
-Manage and maintain graphic files, including logos, photos and art
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications
participating in professional societies
-Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications Required
1.University degree in Graphic and Web Design
2.A minimum of 2-3 years in similar role
3.Fluent in Arabic & English
4.Ability to work under pressure & deadline oriented
5.Creativity
6.Need to be media savvy and open to new ideas
7.Familiarity with the latest computer design software and graphics: Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & Acrobat), Flash, and motion graphics
