A Deputy Store Manager leads his/ her team to maximize store contribution through exploiting every opportunity to drive sales, reduce stock loss
& maintain cost controls. A Deputy Store Manager delivers the
highest levels of motivation & development of team members &
ensures individual & store compliance with all company regulations
& procedures.He/She contributes to & undertakes operations management projects.
Experience:
3 - 5 years of experience in Retail background
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experience in managing a team of minimum 20 - 25 people
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
Arabic language is a plus
Good people management skills
Excellent management skills, with the ability to think and react in a high energy and fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
Work with Store Manager to decide store layout and stock and fixture positioning, assist with managing stock availability, product launches and promotions. Feed pertinent information back to brand team
Ensure customer focus is prioritized
Implement and maintain agreed guidelines and standards for visual merchandising
Ensure store is fully compliant administratively and procedurally according to company guidelines and deadlines
Develop strategies specific to store product/size and or location
Implement and review all stock loss prevention controls and develop practices specific to need of store
Manage a team including : recruitment, motivation, development, disciplinary and performance appraisal
Ensure communication is effective throughout store and back to brand team
