Looking for well experience commis I, II and III in the hotel and restaurant industry to be able to produce foods of high quality according to standard recipes.
The commis will be responsible in handling and assisting with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of the following dishes:
o Meat dishes
o Meat marinades
o Carve meats
o Fish and shell fish
o Sauces for fish and shell fish
o Garnishing techniques and methods of service for fish
o Pastry, cakes and yeast goods
o Petits fours
o Desserts
Prepares Regional Dishes appropriate to the hotel locastion and guest mix. Examples include (add/delete/amend where appropriate);
Provides direction to the Kitchen helpers, including Cooks, Kitchen Attendants and Stewards
Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service
Cleans and re-sets his/her working area
Self Management
Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook
Comply with Company Grooming Standards
Skills
Must have a transferable Kuwait visa 18
Minimum 2 Years Experience in Similar Capacity
A One Year College degree or equivalent education
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
Highly organized
Highly responsible and reliable
Goals and result orientated
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Energetic, enthusiastic,self motivated and a strong team Player
Excellent communication skills
Customer satisfaction orientated
