Required Petroleum Engineering Instructors Oil / Gas - Australian College of Kuwait

The Australian College of Kuwait provides internationally recognised and accredited education and training to undergraduate engineering and management students in Kuwait. Applications are invited from experienced petroleum engineers to work as Engineering Instructors to deliver Diploma Level qualifications in Engineering to Kuwaiti students at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK), commencing August 2013.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Master degree from an accredited university in the area of specialization.
• Teaching experience in a recognized academic institution.
• Relevant workplace experience.
• Excellent command of English language.

Desirable:
• TAE/TAA Certificate in Vocational Education and Training.
• Former TAFE / NVQ teaching experience.

A cover letter summarizing university teaching and research experience;
• A copy of the current CV, including nationality, date of birth (for visa purposes), and
• The names of three referees, one of which should be an academic supervisor.

Salary and Benefits: Competitive - no tax payable in Kuwait.

About ACK: The Australian College of Kuwait is a private institution providing tertiary-level education to approximately 2500 students in the State of Kuwait. Programmes at ACK lead to vocational diplomas and bachelor degrees in a number of engineering and business disciplines. The language of instruction is English. Each year, approximately 200-300 students are accepted into the engineering diploma programme. The engineering diploma programme is delivered in cooperation with internationally recognized vocational institutions, and is accredited both locally and internationally.
