Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Law
- Business awareness of Kuwaiti Laws in general (commercial, labor laws …..etc.) and regulation related to all aspects of the law required by the organization and implementing laws and regulations on all of the company`s contracts, procedures and consultations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing. excellent writing skills (Arabic and English)
Providing the necessary consultancy and audit company procedures as consistent and commensurate with the law and administrative decisions and regulations of the company to maintain their rights and interests towards others
The Position:
- Provide the necessary legal advice required by the company different departments to preserve their rights and legal status.
- Prepare and draft contracts for various departments at their request, in addition of reviewing contracts and amendment thereto commensurate with the company`s interests.
- Attending at the courts different levels to monitor lawsuit, and coordinate with outdoor offices on some cases to provide the necessary required data.
- Review the company`s procedures once and while for any needed modification according to the company`s vision.
- Finding appropriate solutions to the complaints referred to the legal office from various departments in particular to preserves the rights of all parties.
- Attendeing meetings bothe inside and outside the company to provide legal advices on some topics.
- Assists managers with regards to how laws and regulations impact their functional areas.
- Acts on behalf of the organization as both defense and prosecution in lawsuits.
- Prepares and reviews proposed contracts, leases, formal agreements and other legal instruments.
- Coordinates and manages relations with outside counsel.
- To perform all the above mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, and to report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to Data Control Department immediately. Also to ensure that all team members are following mentioned policies.
