To conduct network performance
quality check, drive around tests, collection of statistics and data,
handling trouble tickets, analysis of statistics and generation of
performance reports. Assist in performing independent audit of the
network.
Requirements::
Required years of experience based on progression ladder in Radio Network of Mobile Telecom
Familiar with test tools/ equipment
Very good knowledge of different Radio Network planning tools
Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Access, Word etc.
Good command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be an advantage
Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute
Accountabilities and Activities::
Collect statistics from field and from performance tool, monitor network performance on routine basis, handling customer complaints, perform drive around test and analysis of the statistics.
Study and analysis of statistics, producing performance reports on regular basis and monitoring of key performance indicators. Immediate escalation of ambiguities/ critical issue for corrective actions.
Conduct drive around test, before and after any changes made in the network to verify that the objectives of planned changes have been achieved.
Testing radio network performance against any software changes/ upgrade, hardware changes/ upgrade, addition of new cell sites or changes made in the network.
Proactively monitor and test radio network quality and performance on routine basis as per directives from Supervisor. Document the reports and findings, escalate the issues for resolution.
Coordinate the activities with other departments and colleagues.
Post processing and study of collected data. Transform the data in to report format, document the statistics and reports. Study and analysis of the radio parameters.
Monitor and evaluate Radio network quality parameters like Accessibility, Retain ability, Voice Quality, Throughput; RTT etc. Document the performance on routine basis. Keeping documents updated with respect to coverage and quality of radio network.
Assists Supervisor in developing and implementing procedures and standards that will provide effective workflows and satisfy the business needs of Wataniya Telecom.
Quality testing of radio network on routine basis and verification tests of radio network performance with respect to planning/ design documents.
Set up and monitor KPI, testing and analysis of radio network performance.
Test the effects of software changes/ upgrade, hardware changes/ upgrade, addition of new cell sites or changes made in the network.
Perform network performance tests/ Benchmarking/ Quality of service testing in order to maintain high level Quality of service.
Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents.
Perform system functionality testing an Quality of Service verification.
Provide active support to other Wataniya Telecom departments.
Ensure that upper management is informed on all critical issues pertaining to the area responsible for.
Provide and manage support on special project as and when assigned by seniors and superiors.
Provides reports, make standard reports and tailor make them where necessary
