This position will perform functional operator, organizational, direct
support, and limited general support operations checks on different
types of SINCGARS radios and installation kits in a variety of military wheel and track vehicles. Trouble shoot non working systems to identify malfunctions. Remove and install various components as needed. Work under strict time deadlines.
The successful candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience (Trained by the US Army: with DD Form 214 ) working with SINCGARS Radio System(s) and Intercom System(s) on track and wheel vehicle(s). Must know how to perform system analysis checks, down to the component, to bring system(s) up in a timely manner. Must be able to Install all different types of SINCGARS as well as Intercom System(s) in all the different type(s) of vehicles throughout the US Army Spectrum. Must know how to troubleshoot and repair all type(s) of Radio and Intercom System(s), ie: SINCGARS, VIC-1, VIC-3, MSE, and various types of Communications equipment, Antenna Set(s), Remote Set(s), Telephone Set(s), and have knowledge of secure equipment items, and other associated equipment.
Must have a current Secret Service Clearance.
Ability to function during an extended assignment at a foreign, in-country facility exposed to seasonal temperature extremes. Ability to cope with shared cafeteria, bath and sleeping quarters. Must be able to walk, kneel, bend and stoop, and have correctable vision. Employee will be supervised by the Site Manager or senior Human Resources personnel.
