-Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and analyzing work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by physical or ergonomic factors.
-Conduct inspections and enforce adherence to environmental legislation across facilities operated by the central supply chain function.
- Ensure safe and healthy working environment on site and continuously highlight improvement areas.
- Engages all employees build individual and group ownership of EH&S performance
-Regular training on safety / fire fighting / first aid
-Investigate any safety violations and report
-Manage Safety and training KPIs
-Investigate industrial accidents and injuries determine causes and preventative measures.
-Develop safety tracking and reporting guidelines and train all warehouse management staff in accident investigation and prevention.
- Relevant training and work experience ( 2-3+ years)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive major programs and initiatives & develop and achieve measurable goals
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety related field.
