Internship - UNDSS Web Developer - UNDP

Education:         
The candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited university's Master's or higher degree programme in Computer Science or other related field. Only those students who will return to their studies upon completion of their internship assignments are eligible.

Duties / Responsibilities
    To develop the DSS web page linked to the UN Kuwait website with the aim of increasing and improving the visibility of UNDSS in Kuwait and its services;
    To develop improved online security services provided to Designated Official and UN Heads of Agencies by means of a well-developed DSS website acting as an important resource for information and services for DSS Kuwait clients;
    To enable friendly-user provision of services to UN international and national staff in Kuwait;
    To liaise with other UN agencies in Kuwait, as needed, in relation to the UN website;
    To maintain sustainability of making use of the developed solutions by providing assistance to DSS staff in Kuwait on using, managing, and future updating of the suggested developed solutions and tools.
    To keep the SA, DSS staff informed & trained on the development of the steps of the website plan as carried out;
    To perform any other related duties and tasks as required.
    Ensures that UN rules and regulations are implemented with relevance to the activities as well as policies and procedures of the execution modality.
    Participates in necessary meetings and reviews;
    Any other business as required.
