Our ideal candidate should have Bachelor's Degree in business or related field plus 8 to 12 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

As a Supply Chain QAQC engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing procurement plans and schedules, often involving projects of major importance to the Company. Determine workforce requirements and plan, lead and coordinate efforts of a project team.

Identify best potential suppliers worldwide, request quotations, review input and ensure award to supplier most suited to specific need. Negotiate agreements to obtain most favorable terms and conditions for the Company. Issue purchase orders and supplements in accordance with established policies and procedures. Negotiate and issue blanket/open purchase orders for repetitive requirements. Conduct in-depth evaluations of supplier performance and identify performance issues. Promote supplier consolidations while maintaining approved supplier base. Implement programs to recognize and encourage suppliers to achieve optimum performance.

Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders, and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy. Review questionable situations and interact with other groups to ensure compliance with procurement agreements. Anticipate problems and seek means to prevent or reduce their impact. Implement measures to improve the organization's performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

Control project budget for purchased goods and services, and support other groups closely involved in other aspects of the procurement process. Develop long-term continuous improvement supply management agreements with suppliers. Direct efforts to achieve standardization and cost savings. Evaluate and introduce advanced procurement technologies and other measures to achieve operating efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction. Coordinate activities and provide technical assistance to less experienced staff.
