Faculty of Medicine - The Department of Anatomy - Kuwait University

The Department of Anatomy in the Faculty of Medicine at Kuwait University invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The following minimum qualifications are required:
Applicant should have earned a PhD degree in Human Anatomy with or without MD from an accredited university in a traditional residential and on-campus format.
Applicant should have an excellent GPA in the first degree.
Applicant must have 2 years of teaching experience in all sub-disciplines of Anatomical Sciences (Gross Anatomy, Histology, Human Embryology and Neuroanatomy) to medical students. Teaching experience for other courses such as Dental and Allied Health sciences will be an added advantage.
Applicant should have proven research interests in terms of peer-reviewed publications preferably in one of the following research areas although other specialties will be given due consideration: Cardiovascular or Respiratory or Renal systems with expertise in cutting edge cell/molecular biology techniques.
High proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
