The person would be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure which includes Storage, Networking, Broadcasting and virtualization technologies. The individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, and customers based on latest standards.
This individual needs to assist various teams with technical issues they face from time to time. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support by executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development to production by performing operation activities within the project life-cycle.
The person would be accountable for the following systems: Linux, Mac and Windows systems, Networking, Storage, Virtualization technologies like Citrix and VMware, Broadcasting systems, Adobe products, Patch Management solutions, Industry Best Practices, ISMS (ISO 27001), Auditing etc.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
1. Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
2. Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Cisco, Linux and Microsoft.
3. Above 8 years system administration experience.
