Reporting to the DBA Manager, you will be performing Oracle DBA activities.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience as a Oracle DBA.
Certified Oracle DBA is a PLUS
Possess creative ability, credibility, self-confidence and Independent
Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities
Pro-active, dedicated, committed and responsible
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience with Oracle database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Experience in HA & Redundant solutions like Oracle database clustering/replication, developing a Oracle database architecture models so that Juniors can follow to implement, support, manage Point of Sale Application where response time is the top most requirement.
Monitor and optimize Oracle database performance and capacity planning
Troubleshoot database issues, Demonstrate Proactive & Preventive Measures, Maintain database systems availability and scalability
Develop and optimize database design for new applications
Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environment
