Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for
providing timely and accurate information to the management in
adherence with strict deadlines.
Experience:
Must be a university graduate, preferably with business/ accounting/ finance degree.
CPA/ CA/ CMA certification.
Experience in the retail industry is an advantage; but not mandatory.
Ability to create and generate spreadsheets and reports and provide meaningful commentaries.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to explain financial concepts to non- financial team members.
2-3 years relevant experience.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Experience is using of systems such as Oracle, Cognos, MS Office etc.
Responsibilities:
Model and provide previous, current and forecasted financial information to assist and enable Brand/ Division, Operations and Support Function Management to review performance and build business plans that optimise trading patterns.
Review budget against actual trading performance every period.
Prepare monthly Financial Review packs, provide analyses, work on adhoc projects and be a right-hand support to the Finance Manager.
Ensure timely and accurate production of standard and customised financial reports for the Business.
Undertake focused analysis on performance related to brand, store and country profitability and ongoing costs reviews.
Lead a team of financial analysts.
