Senior Civil Engineer - Mott MacDonald Pvt - Manama - Bahrain Job Description Senior Civil Engineer – Potable Water Ductile Iron Pipelines • Working as Client Representative within a multi-disciplinary team, for supervision of the construction works which are being carried out under lump sum contracts • Review/comment and approve Contractor's shop designs, material submittals, drawings and other project relevant documentation and correspondence; • Plan, monitor and supervise work of other construction supervision Engineers; • Participate in Client and Contractor facing technical and progress meetings; • Coordinate with the Client and Contractor and particular focus on liaising with relevant Authorities and overseeing wayleave applications; • Proactive liaison with all parties for site safety; • Ensure prompt exchange and recording of correspondence and approvals Profile • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering • Minimum of 13 years of engineering experience, 10 of which will have been in construction supervision and 5 years on projects in water sector in the Middle East • Possess strong technical knowledge and site management background in large diameter ductile iron transmission pipes for potable water – above and below ground, associated reinforced concrete and steel structures, and working with varying ground conditions • Demonstrate competence in managing and leading other team members • Familiarity with applicable international standards; • Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the water/waste water industry; • Must have previously worked on potable water ductile iron pipeline projects; • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills Experience 13 - 30+ years Education Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Civil ) Nationality Any Nationality Gender Any Email: privacy@mottmac.com

Civil Engineer Inspector – Potable Water Pipelines - Mott MacDonald Pvt - Manama - Bahrain Job Description Civil Engineer Inspector – Potable Water Pipelines • The primary role is to observe, check and record that work execution for laying of large diameter ductile iron transmission pipes and associated reinforced concrete structures, are in accordance with approved methods. • Check site conditions for suitability prior to construction • Check instructions are being carried out • Check setting-out and levels • Check services locations and ensure their protection • Record inspections, tests, work executed etc. • Check materials delivered are as approved and properly stored • Observe site safety procedures • Measure work done when required • Assist in the preparation of 'As Built' drawings Profile • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering • minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience, 3 of which will have been in construction supervision and on projects in water and wastewater sectors in the Middle East • Experience of inspection of large diameter ductile iron pipelines • Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the water/wastewater industry is preferred • Good command of the English language both written and verbal Experience 5 - 20 years Education Basic - Diploma ( Civil ) Nationality Any Nationality Gender Any Email: privacy@mottmac.com
