responsible for the preparation and creative presentation of gourmet food in our busy in-store restaurant kitchen,
in addition to assisting with the implementation of new menus, systems
and seasonal promotions. You should also have the talent to coach and
develop a team to achieve the highest standards of food and service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
A recognized qualification in Culinary or Hospitality Studies.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a reputable European-style restaurant preparing international cuisine.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Customer focused and sales driven with the ability to achieve targets.
Experience in purchasing, stock management and cost control with the capacity to build effective supplier relationships.
HACCP certified or trained in a similar international food safety standard.
Ability to plan, organize and supervise resources and operations within specified timeframes while maintaining kitchen ‘Standards of Practice’.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster that includes weekends and evening shifts.
Advantages:
Trained in a five-star hotel kitchen.
Experience working in fine dining.
Experience working in Kuwait or elsewhere in the Middle East.
