CGI Federal is seeking for an Integration Operations Item Management Specialist to work in our Camp Arifjan Location.
Assists and supports the USARCENT Mobility Division Forward deployed in Kuwait with transportation planning, operations, Class VII Retrograde and administrative tasks.
-Receives and tracks tasking and directives, and coordinates and integrates the operational efforts of the Movements, Distribution and JOPES Operations.
-Supporst execution of requirements assessment, transportation mobility planning and feasibility analysis.
-Attends transportation, movements, mobility meetings, video teleconferences (VTC's), and required staff meetings. Provide continuous review, analysis and monitoring of programs, policy, guidance and systems administration.
-Prepares and maintains detailed functional operating procedures and ensure that plans and programs are consistently implemented and that timely corrective action is implemented to resolve technical and operational deficiencies.
-Ensures that planning and execution are fully coordinated and represent the most effective utilization of transportation and distribution systems.
-Provides operational advice and assistance to functional elements outside the Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Architectures (C4) Mobility Division, including planning elements involved in the development, planning and reporting of movement requirements. Serve as doctrinal SME for transportation, movements and distribution, and analyze requirements for and participate in the development of doctrine and lessons learned.
-Maintains expertise in, and conduct analysis of, transportation and movement requirements, transportation mobility planning, and theater distribution. Conduct analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the transportation infrastructure to include the impact of force flow requirements on inter-theater and intra-theater transportation systems (capability), key transportation nodes and the reception, staging, onward movement and integration of forces in the AOR.
-Updates daily Mobility Tracking Mechanism with changes, record and disseminate information to all activities concerning the command.
Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance
Additional Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related work experience required.
