MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A) Education & Training: Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysical Sciences or any related engineering degree.
B) Experience (General & Specialized): Eight (8) years experience in safety and industrial hygiene within the oil industry, including four (4) years in a similar position.
C) Language: Very good written and spoken English skills.
D) Others: Certification as a safety professional or industrial hygienist.
SCOPE:
Provides technical guidance, expertise and assistance to Exploration Group on issues including, but not limited to the use and deployment of the Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS); developing and managing the content of an OE Plan that is fully integrated into the seismic acquisition project execution plan; managing and providing oversight of environmental, health & safety (EHS) matters relevant to geophysical projects and field survey operations; and managing timely execution of Environmental Impact Assessment/Environment, Social, and Health Impact Assessment (EIA/ESHIA) project(s). Mentors and develops junior and national staff.
