Logistics Operations Analyst S3 AFSBn Kuwait Staff Augmentation for Army Prepositioned Equipment.
Qualifications:
BS Degree plus 4 years direct related experience or 12 years directly related experience.
Possess a current Secret level government clearance
Able to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme head in austere work environment in Kuwait.
Preferred qualifications include Battle Staff NCO course graduate or prior US Army Battle Captain on Brigade Support Operations Staff of a Sustainment Brigade or APS AFSB Staff. Prior current operations FRAGOs and SITREPs with future operations planning experience with maintenance readiness, supply accountability, and transportation land/sea/air movements
1. Review content of all documentation of Situation Reports (SITREPs), Command Briefs, Executive Summaries, Information Papers, Trip Papers, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal/external customers to ensure content is accurate, and meets the Commander's intent free of formatting and grammatical errors.
2. Create graphics, designs, charts, slides, briefs, brochures, narratives, articles to communicate the AFSB Kuwait Battalion's Army Prepositioned Equipment logistics mission, readiness, and Commander's priorities.
3. Compile, analyze data, organize and present information analysis and recommendations to command and staff.
4. Responsible for developing/editing briefs as needed for General Officers, DVs, and Directorate-level audiences.
5. Provides assistance and support for all operations and activities under the authority of the Commander.
6. Identify problems and issues, establish/develop lasting improvements and establish corrective actions.
7. Provides recommendations and assistance to the AFSBn Kuwait Commander on operational and administrative issues, which may impact Army Prepositioned Equipment and In Theater Maintenance mission accomplishment.
8. Keel AFSBn Commander apprised of any potentially serious issues and the status of them; ensures personnel are identified to explain review areas and coordinates briefing agenda with appropriate representatives.
9. Provides communication and coordination with ASFB Kuwait Brigade, sister battalions, and other major commands in Southwest Asia (SWA).
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
