Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research needs to fill the following positions:
Research Associate for QA and TA
Bachelor Degree (4 years) or higher in Chemistry/Engineering or related scientific field with minimum 3 years experience in ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 audits.
Associate Research Scientist/Specialist for QA/TA
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Science/Engineering or related scientific field (Bachelor Degree should be 4 years) with ISO internal auditor certificate are preferred. At least 3 years of experience in ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 audits and documentation requirements in research laboratory, commercial laboratory or manufacturing plant.
Associate Research Scientist for HSWE
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Science/Engineering or related technical field with minimum 10 years experience as Safety Officer/Manager in research laboratory, commercial laboratory or manufacturing plant. Applicants with Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – OSHA 10 & 30 trained; OSHA 500, ASP, and CSP and possibly NRCC certification for CHO.
Research Associate for HSWE
Bachelor Degree (4 years) or higher in Safety, Engineering or related technical field with minimum 5 years experience as Safety Officer/Manager in research laboratory, commercial laboratory or manufacturing plant. Applicants with Certificates, Licenses, Registration – OSHA 10 & 30 trained; OSHA 500, ASP, and CSP and possibly NRCC certification for CHO.
Administrative Assistant
Qualifications: 2 years Commercial or Administrative Diploma beyond secondary school (12 years) or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience. Knowledge of ISO and safety standards, preparing and handling of quality records, excellent written and oral communication skills in English and working knowledge in Arabic are preferred.
Instructions:
Priority will be given first to Kuwaiti nationals and then to others.
Candidates should have obtained degrees from Kuwait University or any other accredited institutions approved by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education, Kuwait.
GPA of B.Sc. (general and specialty) should not be less than 3 out of 4 or the equivalent.
