Must have 5 years of experience performing as a Construction Manager, on overseas projects for DOD clients.
and must be capable of providing complete construction management oversight services for new, renovation, or improvement type projects (site work, electrical/power/lighting, utility, HVAC, fire suppression, etc.).
Must have a secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen
Must possess strong computer skills with the following; MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and other standard office systems.
Must be able to live and work on an overseas military base.
Must be able to complete HAZMAT, hazardous communication, and hazardous waste training.
Must read, write, and speak English fluently.

The IE Division of URS is actively seeking a registered Construction Manager for employment on in an OCONUS project site. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in all phases of Construction Management. These projects are related to a wide variety of facilities and infrastructure systems including: earthwork (airfield and roadway pavement systems); high and low voltage electrical systems; HVAC; water and sewage (plumbing); fire suppression; control and alarm systems, which will interface with other engineering specializations.
The Construction Manager will provide overall inspection and ensures compliance with approved plans and specifications. Will coordinate with government representatives concerning work schedules, interpretation of plans and schedules, selection of work methods, and acceptability of materials and workmanship. Will resolve problems with contractors and develop recommendations. Will monitor contract schedules, noting delays or problems. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
