Purpose:
To supervise, organize and control activities of the Branch Procedures Unit. The Manager – Branch Procedures also assists the Unit Head to ensure continuity in providing proper operational support to various departments/branches and customers in accordance with bank’s policies and procedures.
Accountabilities:
1. General:
• Action on Legal, PAMA, PIFSS and MOI letters.
• Follow up documentations on:
o Activation Dormant/Dormant Unclaimed accounts report
o ATM/POS increase limit report
• Update/Amend daily : KYC,Youth & Cinet reports
• Follow up Monthly dormant/unclaimed- account Notification letters
• Prepare CBK, Charity, AlAmil , Staff Cash allowance & Hold’s without sufficient balance reports
• Process HR transactions: Change Home Branch type & Close accounts
• Coordinate with related departments/ units for ensuring adherence to New Branch Opening Process as per check list
2. Bank Forms
• Conduct Review and modify templates of various forms and Branch applications being used in branches
• Submit changes to business, legal and marketing for their signoff.
• Upload on Intranet system
• Authorize printing and usage of updated forms/ applications.
• Branch Communications & Query Resolution :
o Communicate necessary instructions to branches
o Circulate policies, procedures and system changes once implemented.
Education/Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
a) Education / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business administration, training in AML policies
b) Knowledge:
• AML and CBK regulations.
• Sound Banking Operations knowledge
c) Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in similar job/ task
d) Accreditation / Licensing: N/A
e) Generic & Specific Skills:
• Excellent command in English/Arabic (spoken& written)
• High organizational and time management skills
• Analytical thinking and problem solver
• Excellent Communication and team management skills
• Should have flair for back office operations and organized thought process
• Coordination skills between cross functional teams
