Required Electronics Technician - P F - New Mowasat Hospital

The Electronics Technician - P&F provides technology management and medical equipment repair/calibration support as per the Hospital requirement.

Education :      Diploma in Electronics
Experience :     3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Other Skills
Technical Skills :     Knowledge of solid state electronics & control circuits with ability to analyze schematics. Familiar with telephone, public address, computer network systems and hospital electrical codes. Knowledge of fire panels, PABX system, Computer hardware & software systems & programs, viruses and security

Administrative Skills :    
Calm, Cooperative and Self-Motivated. Problem Solving skill and Reasoning Ability
Computer Skills :     MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CMMS and Internet
Soft Skills :     Fair Communication and Inter-personal skills
Language Skills:     Good in written and spoken English , Arabic is an advantage
     

WORKING CONDITIONS
    Works in a hospital environment with work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
    Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
    Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching

RESPONSIBILITIES
    Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance safety and Health & Safety rules.
    Ensures uninterrupted delivery of quality patient care in accordance with current codes, regulations, and accreditation guidelines.
    Performs routine safety testing, attends Fire alarms, BMS trouble shooting & training, preventive maintenance & repair of electronics and communications systems.
    Analyses problems and processes relative to the operations of systems, and develops / recommends corrective action.
    Determines the operational acceptability of systems as per prescribed standards and tolerances for patient care.
    Enhances medical equipment systems to improve system response time for users
    Develops proposals and keeps abreast of technological advances to ensure continued optimum service.
    Evaluates existing medical systems and analyses functionality in the organizational environment.
    Maintains, calibrates and repairs all UPS, Nurse Call, communications and synchronized clocks, including computer network distribution systems within the Hospital site as delegated Provides technical assistance and training.
    Operates and monitors the Building Automation System (BAS) as required.
