Required Expert In Sampling Central Statistical Bureau - UNDP

The State of Kuwait in coordination with UNDP strives to enhance institutional capacities at various Government agencies in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development. In this context, the Central Statistical Bureau, which implements surveys and census intends to recruit an international expert to assist in developing best practices in extracting survey samples under the auspices of the Kuwait-UNDP Cooperation Framework,

Objectives:
    Improve the sampling tasks of the CSB to be conducted with high efficiency and in a timely manner.
    Revise and update the sampling practice.
    Build up the survey samples database.
    Create national cadres capable of conducting sampling according to best practices.

Education:
    Ph.D. in Applied Statistics or related disciplines and significant

Experience:
    Experience in the field of sampling techniques and methodologies, no less than ten years.
