Key Accountabilities:
• Understand accounting principals/standards for revenue recognition • Ensure that receivable and revenue is inline with contractually agreed amount and terms (Amount & time) • Ensure all receipts from customer are booked in SAP in a timely and accurate manner. • Analyse risks associated with pending collections and open credit, send alerts and recommend for provision as per company policy. • Perform periodic balance reconciliations with customers as per company policy • Ensure that all schedules, including month end reconciliations, relating to receivables and revenue are prepared on timely basis. • Flexibility to work above business hours and weekends as needed. • Ad hoc duties as assigned by line manager.
Skill, Knowledge and Experience Required
# Commerce graduate or ACCA # Fluent in written and spoken English (Arabic advantage) # Minimum of 4 years accounting experience in Receivables & Revenue assurance in Construction or Manufacturing concern # Advance knowledge in excel
