AMATS System Engineers APS-5 - URS Corporation

Must have high school diploma and at least Two (2) years of job related experience on AMATS. Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Associates degree or vocational/technical training, and prior management or supervisory experience is desirable. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

AMATS System Engineers -Establish operational databases, software configuration control and system interfaces for computer system(s) assigned. Establish operational databases, software configuration control and system interfaces for computer system(s) assigned. Maintain file servers, network access, document and analyze system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Prepares system for operational use and support operational tests. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Other Responsibilities:

Responsible for adequate control and administration of government property under the responsibility and control of contract personnel.
