Analyst AWRDS / MWB / PBUSE / LMP - APS-5 - URS Corporation

Perform logistics support tasks within logistics element area(s) (ILS planning, maintenance planning, supply support, test and support equipment, packaging/handling/storage/ transportation, personnel and training, data. computer resources, design interface) for systems, subsystems, and equipment. Perform analyses, studies, problem identification and resolution in support of a customer logistics area manager. Research and analyze logistics element problems and determine solution alternatives. Perform routine customer interface with supervision in the execution and status reporting of tasks. Review reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; consolidate comments from various organizations; and draft reports. Assist in preparing routine correspondence (i.e., letters, memos and route sheets), spreadsheets, Gantt charts, presentations, and meeting minutes.
Assist with maintenance of logistics support data, planning schedules, and documents. Support logistics element(s) tasks.

Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and at least 2 year of job-related experience on AWRDS/MWB/PBUSE/LMP or equivalent. Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Stress, physical hardships and possible field living conditions associated with this position within a desert camp complex. Ability to function during an extended assignment at a foreign, in-country facility exposed to seasonal temperature extremes. Ability to cope with shared cafeteria, bath and sleeping quarters. Must be able to walk, kneel, bend and stoop, and have correctable vision.
