Tendering / Sales Engineer - ABB Group

Our ideal candidate should have Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field plus 5 to 8 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

As a tendering and sales engineer, you will be responsible to:
Develop and maintain close working relationships with client representatives responsible for making purchasing decisions. Interact with relevant parties to negotiate sales, resolve disputes and quality-related issues.

Analyze trends and the competition to understand current and emerging client needs, purchasing and maintenance requirements.

Coordinate and make presentations to convince customers of the economic, technical, and operational benefits and features of replacement parts, upgrades, modifications, rebuilds and services to improve their operations and reduce maintenance costs.

Assist clients in reducing impact of outages and similar problems by planning, expediting, and coordinating corrective measures with internal groups to ensure proper support and satisfy sales commitment.

Identify candidates for inventory management programs and conduct related sales efforts in order to recapture lost business and increase product volume purchases.
