The role is to developing reports & analytics for the delivery intelligence solutions for the business intelligence practice.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Develops application software of medium to high complexity from detailed technical specifications.
- Develops database queries and stored procedures of medium complexity to support data analysis and/or technical programming responsibilities.
- Executes test scripts for system, integration and/ or user acceptance testing and documents technical test results.
- Contributes to the creation and content of appropriate Catalyst work products with guidance from subject matters experts.
- Maintains awareness of current business trends relevant to the company and clients.
- Understands basic information about the structure of client assignments and how individual efforts contribute to timely and profitable delivery for the company.
- Develops ideas and communicates status, issues, designs and plans to peers and line manager both orally and in writing.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to architect, to manage, to administer, to develop and to support reporting using the complete Cognos toolset.
- Experience with relational database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Ability to translate user requirements into Cognos models, cubes, reports, scorecards, dashboards and portals.
- Bilingual - Excellent spoken/written English and Arabic
Education
- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Certificates in related field is a plus.
