Senior Manager Merchant Sales - E Gulf Bank

Manages Service Functions of Merchant Customer Care. Manage the procedure of operations for P.O.S. & PGW & follow up on the relationship with KNET, MiGS, Visa & MasterCard and other third parties and bank departments to ensure POS & PGW channel full operation as per Merchants’ & local Market requirements and manage all key merchants relationships, Also sales departments within the bank to ensure achieving the target of POS & PGW channels as the target plan and also participate in achieving the cards departments targets.

Education / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Financial / accounting / banking

Knowledge:
Sound knowledge relevant Technology & Business Environment and regional & international market trends

Experience:
At least 10 years in Merchant Relations

Accountabilities:
    Manage all merchant relation support activities, including the management of individual relationship for all Banks’ POS & PGW Merchants and specially the key merchants and big alliances.
    Ensures continuous improvement of the channels to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 customer service levels.
    Coordinates with other areas of the bank for the development of services on the channels for the personal and / or institutional banking markets.
    Manage the relation with KNET in order to ensure that all activities on POS & PGW to ensure the speed and type of services required.
    Manage all reconciliation for Knet invoices related POS & PGW and ensure the validity of invoices.
    Manage the relation With Amex Company and NBK to ensure the installation of American express and Diners club card scheme.
    Manage the relation with Migs in order to ensure that all activities on credit card PGW to ensure the speed and type of services required.
    Manage the activity to Ensures proper and timely follow-up on Merchants' and customers’ queries/complaints, and arranges for necessary management of their P.O.S & PGW dealings and especially for Key merchants in coordinate with the direct report managers.
    Manage the entire processing request for installations and revising rates request in coordinate with direct report managers.
    Manage and Coordinates with consumer Banking and Corporate Account Manager to secure new alliances for POS and PGW and manages the resulting relationship for Key merchants.
    Actively involved in formulating policies / procedures manuals of the Department in cooperate with Merchant Sales Manager & Merchant support Manager.
    Prepare and manage the all projects & initiatives assigned to Merchant Unit by the management and ensure the delivery of the project within the target plan..
    Closely work on Annual Budget and plane for Merchant Relation unit in coordinate with the Head of cards.
    Coordinates with other areas of the bank for increasing the sales on the channels.
    Mange all incentive schemes & staff targets for POS & PGW sales.
    Manage the sales activity to Ensures proper and timely follow-up on Merchants' and customers’ request for new installation and replacements.
    Manage all the required periodically activity reports for Merchant Relation unit and send it to Head of cards to combine it with other reports.
    Manage all merchant Promotion activities, including the management of events to increase unit income.
    Manage all the promotions in Merchant site.
    Manage the promotion & events activity to Ensures proper and timely follow-up on Merchants' request for any joint marketing programs.
    Manage all the required periodically activity reports for Merchant promotions and send it to Head of Cards to combine it with other reports.
    Develops both financial & non-financial MIS reports for effective measurement & Assessment of the avenues in terms of profitability for any promotion.
    Manage and Coordinates with marketing and HR internal relation to secure new joint marketing relations.
    Manage the Joint marketing relations to ensure merchant loyalty and increase turnover and GBK Credit Card Usage.
    Manage all the marketing materials required by the unit.
    Manage all the development for systems in merchant relation unit to ensure covering the merchant requirements, increase profit and be up-to-date.
    Manage the entire Balance score card for direct report to ensure achievement of targets.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.
