Lead BI reporting team, responsible for the development and maintenance
of Business Intelligence Reporting System. This includes BI Report
model building, report development, processing and presentation to
provide effective Business Intelligence reporting to the business.
Key Activities & Accountabilities:
Design, develop, test and maintain the processes that build, support and provision BI applications.
Maintain skill proficiency with the tools and software used by the Data warehouse and analytic reporting applications and systems.
Develop and maintain OLAP cubes, BI reports and complex analytic queries for business reporting purposes.
Work with BI teams to strategically design, implement and enhance reporting and BI software and systems to support the business requirements of the end-user reporting needs.
Provide Performance / Revenue / KPI dashboards, Commission reports, Operator settlement reports, Vendor Revenue settlement reports and other Key revenue booking reports to Finance and relevant departments on regular frequency.
Qualifications:
Required years of experience based on progression ladder, relevant (IT / Data warehousing) experience
Experience in the Telecom industry would be an advantage
knowledge of current Data Warehouse technologies, concepts and products
knowledge of data warehousing, relational databases, SQL, and reporting tools, techniques, practices, and methodologies
Good knowledge of different business areas and concepts including marketing, sales, finance, strategy, B2C, B2B, and CRM
Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
Good command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be an advantage
