process, and governance, including effective and efficient operations.
The Internal Audit Manager, through diligently planned and
professionally conducted compliance/financial and operational audits,
gives assurance on internal controls, risk management and governance
processes.
BA/MBA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management
• Strong Analytical Skills and ability to analyze complex business processes and situations
• Strong Team Leader and mentor/developer for her/his team
• Strong Team Player and negotiator/conflict resolver with peers and department heads
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and presentation skills
• Strong financial and accounting skills, such statistics, sampling, ratio analysis, etc.
• Business Adviser and Risk Assessor for his line manager, CEO and Higher Management
1. To define specific short-term (annual) objectives and agree on strategic long-term objectives for the Internal Audit function with Head of Corporate Affairs
2-To prepare the Annual Audit Plan and Budget, which should indicate also the technical and manpower requirements
3-To review the business operations and identify the risks effecting the achievement of company objectives
4-To help management review, amend and enhance its policies and procedures in various areas by recommending changes to current ones and introducing new procedures
5-To execute the Annual Audit Plan by conducting compliance, financial and operational audits as per auditing standards
6-To conduct investigations in fraud and other cases and perform special assignments as per Management’s request and Report and follow-up on any deficiencies, abuses, fraud and weaknesses to Higher Management
7-To establish the organization set-up of the Internal Audit Department by defining Job Titles, Grades and Job Descriptions of each position and also specifying appropriate education and experience requirements for each position below Grade 6
8-To establish and promote Training and Development process in the Internal Audit Department by coordinating with Head of Corporate Affairs
9-To establish policies and procedures for the Internal Audit activity and manage its technical and administrative functions
10-To prepare a Quality Assurance Program for continuous improvement of Internal Auditing procedures and methodologies as well as compliance with Internal Auditing Standards by coordinating with Head of Corporate Affairs
